We need your help to find objects that resemble Kiki Smith sculptures that will feature in the exhibition.
These will be used as part of a sensory experience for blind or partially sighted visitors.
Also, it will be a great resource for anyone that would like to discover how an object in the exhibition could feel like to touch!
Have a look at home or when you are out and about for any of the objects listed below.
They just need to be of similar shape and material.
Clam shell (real or plastic)
Egg (glass, resin, plastic)
(bronze, brass, resin, plastic)
(bronze, brass, plastic, resin)
Resin (ideally), plastic or glass alternative.
Could be fun for anyone wants to have a go at making something like this out of cement?!
Why get involved?
These objects will be used as part of a sensory experience for blind or partially sighted visitors. Giving them the opportunity to explore how some of the scultptures in the exhibition could feel like to touch!
How to get involved?
Once you have found an object, label it with your name on the bottom and leave in the box next to Joe's desk.
You will be free to pick items up at the end of the exhibition. However, we cannot guarantee that items will be returned in their original condition, as they will be touched by visitors on a regular basis. Therefore, please do not give us items of personal or monetry value.
